C+GA is currently seeking a candidate for Senior Architectural Designer with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design architect for sustainable multi-family residential and institutional projects, from feasibility through construction administration.
- Architectural design review of multiple projects within the office.
- Lead designer for RFP’s and competitions.
- Contact and interface with client and consulting team.
- Coordinate with PM during design phases, and follow design through construction documents and construction administration.
Skills:
- Strong design, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent project design and delivery experience, including construction documentation.
- Commitment to and experience with sustainable design.
- Experience in New York City and with sustainable design and multi-family housing a plus.
- Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience (post-grad). US experience required.
- Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up. 3D proficiency a must.
- US Architectural registration a plus.
- LEED Certification a plus.
- Familiarity with Building Codes, NYC a plus.
- Excellent English language communication and client interface skills.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employee sponsorship.

KVA has a full-time position open for a creative and resourceful Project Architect with 5-10 years of professional experience and leadership abilities to expand our interfaces between conventional (CAD-based) construction document practices and digital fabrication (CADCAM) on innovative building projects at a range of scales. KVA is located in the former Blue Bird bottling plant on the edge of Boston’s South End with in-house workshops and prototyping facilities.
Candidates should be:
- Passionate about design & fabrication, with a deep knowledge of building construction.
- A licensed architect with experience administering A101 contracts.
- Skilled at communicating on site in construction environments.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Rhino 4.0 with Revit and Master CAM experience a plus.
- Able to work well in a collaborative, open studio environment.
- Experienced in the coordination of structural, MEP consultants.
