Samaha is a leading architectural design firm located in Fairfax, Virginia. We work with public and private clients in a variety of project markets including educational, public safety, government, commercial, recreation, historic preservation & sustainable design.
We are seeking a full time interior designer with the design management skills to lead the interior efforts of our existing projects as well as develop an interior design studio within the office. A successful candidate must possess excellent leadership, business development, organizational, writing, and graphic skills. We are looking for a candidate who will be committed to the continued success of our firm and desires to play a crucial role.
Responsibilities of the position would include interior design, project management, space planning, finishes and furnishings selection, creating marketing materials specific to interior design and business development.
Applicants must have passed the NCIDQ exam, have non-residential experience in interior design, be able to work in a collaborative environment, and possess an eye for great design. Experience with REVIT, SketchUp and InDesign are preferred. Membership in IIDA is a plus.

Busy design practice who are rapidly growing is recruiting for a Project Architect to join their growing team. They are a young dynamic office and look for an individual that can rise within the practice. Their work is super contemporary and minimal in style and they work across a couple of different sectors. This is a true ‘Project Architect’ role where you will be fully involved in projects from concept to completion. They have a full project pipeline and need a capable Architect who can take on board responsibility. You must have site, client facing and job running experience to be considered for this role. They are flexible as to the types of projects you have worked on. You will also ideally be proficient with Vectorworks (although training can be provided.)
Qualifications and personal qualities:
RIBA or ARB registered Architect with experience of working within the United Kingdom.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly computer literate, self-motivated and a clear thinker, alongside a strong team player who can work in a multi-disciplinary team and able to work to tight deadlines.
