The position: We are looking for an experienced Project Architect who is able to put together quality drawings, coordinate team member tasks, respect the integrity of the design and carry the project forward into Construction. During construction, the Project Architect is responsible for the CA phase of a project including all aspects of record keeping, responding to contractor inquiries and submittals, and site visits. Candidates must have a working knowledge of building codes, specifications and an aptitude for how a building is constructed.

Requirements: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in architecture including positions as Project Architect and Construction Administrator in wood and concrete construction for multifamily, mixed use projects. Knowledge of the BIM process and construction scheduling software as well as software experience in Microsoft Products, Revit, Adobe Acrobat and New Forma is preferable.

Design and architecture firm Create is looking for an experienced architect or architectural technician to join its team in London with an immediate start.

Create are searching for an experienced architect or architectural technician to assist in delivering it’s burgeoning workload. We have received a number of new instructions in the education and residential sectors and are looking for architects / technicians with experience in these fields. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of three years UK experience in detailing, construction, production information and specification writing. Most of our work progresses to site, therefore experience throughout the construction process is important.

The successful candidate will be proficient in hand sketching, as well as AutoCAD, Google Sketch Up and possess excellent IT skills. They will also have fluent English both written and spoken. They will be a positive outgoing person who can readily adapt to new challenges.

As a young practice we have a great team spirit and work collaboratively. We are passionate about beautifully designed low impact architecture and are looking for ways to develop and enhance our design team and skill base.
