Intermediate Architect
21/10/2014Well-established midsize NYC architectural firm seeks talented intermediate architect with 7+years work experience. The firm is currently working on a number of diverse projects types including institutional, educational and sports related projects.
Skills and qualifications:
- Professional degree.
- Successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals with excellent communication and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS and Office Suite is required. Familiarity with Revit a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team on all phases of a project.
- The ability to work with short time frames and meet deadlines a must.
- Experience in sustainable design is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the US mandatory.

Candidate must demonstrate work and experience on all phases of a project: from planning and concept design through design development, bid analysis, construction documents and construction administration.
The following minimum qualifications apply:
- Professional degree B Arch or M Arch.
- Minimum 5 consecutive years of relevant professional experience.
- Multi-story and high-rise buildings a plus.
- Strong design skills.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Conscientious, focused and well organized - must be comfortable with multi-tasking.
- Proficiency with ACAD and familiarity with other 3D softwares.
- Candidates must be currently living in the NYC area and authorized to work in the United States.
