The Lawrence Group is a national architecture firm with offices in 5 US cities, with a total staff of about 150 people. The New York Office is seeking candidates for an intermediate architect position starting immediately. The office is a boutique design office with around 10 architects and designers.

Project involvement may include working on high end commercial office, broadcast facilities, hospitality work, or other building renovations in Manhattan.

Candidate qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 3-7 years professional experience in an architectural office.
- Excellent design and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent digital presentation skills, preferably including Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, methods and standard building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a minimum requirement; the firm has fully implemented Revit on all new projects so proficiency in Revit is a significant plus.

Munoz Albin is a design focused practice that is based in Houston, we specialize in architecture and planning with a strong emphasis in high design. Our work is mostly local to the Houston area but we have many national projects and international projects. Our sectors include urbanized mixed-use developments that include but are not limited to office, hotels, multifamily, retail, high rise buildings, and master planning.

We are currently seeking an design architect with 4 to10 years of comprehensive experience. Candidates must have a professional degree and should be a licensed architect or pursuing registration. The candidate should have a strong production level background and be capable of multiple projects at once. Candidates must have a well-rounded level of experience and capable of performing all phases of work from programming, planning, SD, DD, CD and CA.

Candidates that have multifamily and high-rise experience are preferred but it’s not a requirement. The candidate will be taking very rough ideas and translating them into coherent presentation level designs. Candidates must have a passion for design, excellent interpersonal abilities, strong communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team-oriented studio environment. Revit/BIM and CAD proficiency is required.
