Meyer Davis is an internationally recognized full service interior design firm based in New York City. We are seeking a motivated project architect to work on a wide variety of projects including hospitality, commercial, and high-end residential design.
Qualifications:
- Professional Degree in Architecture (BA or BS) 6+ years of hospitality and/or high-end residential design/construction administrative experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge in design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Leads the design process from concept generation through design detailing.
- Plans, organizes and supervises the work of the design team staff on one project or manages several smaller projects (organizes, executes, coordinates assignments).
- Makes client presentations without supervision when required.
- Coordinates with consultants and collaborates with teammates throughout project.
- Proven project design management, DOB approvals, consultant coordination, and construction completion.
- Strong technical and communication skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.

We currently have a vacancy for a qualified architect to join our busy and expanding practice. Candidates should have between 1 and 5 years post-part 3 experience with proven experience in practice and with excellent technical and project running skills. A track record of delivering high end residential projects and conservation projects would be an advantage.
Successful candidates should have:
RIBA Part III qualification.
Be a team worker willing to take responsibility and be capable of working under their own initiative.
Have good verbal and written communication skills.
Technically, you should have excellent IT skills preferably using:
- AutoCAD.
- Adobe Suite.
- MS Office.
- Sketchup.
Driving licence.
