A successful candidate will have 7-10 years of design and technical experience working on mid- to large-scale projects. Experience working on science and technology and higher education projects preferred. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree in Architecture and Architectural Registration preferred. This position also requires proven experience with Revit.

Project Architect

Award-winning boutique architectural / interior design studio looking for a Project Architect to join our highly creative and growing firm. Opportunities for rapid advancement and partnership available to highly motivated individuals. Applicant must have 6 to 10 years of project architect / project manager experience for commercial interior projects.
Must have restaurant, hotel, retail design experience. Only those with experience in restaurant, hotel, retail design will be considered.
Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, have good verbal, communication and collaboration skills and be willing to perform both Project Architect and Project Management duties on multiple projects simultaneously.
Applicant should meet the following requirements:
- Proficiency in Autocad, Photoshop, Word and Excel. Rhino, 3-d modeling and V-Ray skills a plus.
- Ability to manage all phases of projects from concept design through construction administration.
- Ability to manage project scheduling, budgets and coordinate bidding process.
- Experience and competency in supervision and production of drafting and detailing.
- Experience and competency coordinating with owners, consultants and contractors.
- Full working knowledge of ADA requirements, building codes and standards.
- Proven experience preparing project proposals, negotiating fees & contracts.
- Legally able to work in the United States.
