Projects typically overlap the disciplines of planning, architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, and graphic design. Position overview:
Provide innovative design, research, and graphics on all types of projects including master planning, space programming, feasibility studies, and urban design at multiple scales (city/site/building).
Candidate will work with architects, planners and landscape architects on a variety of tasks including:
- Development of design and planning concepts.
- Diagramming.
- 3D modeling – Sketchup, Revit, Rhino.
- Creating presentation graphics and renderings.
- Developing schematic design level architectural plans.
- Quantitative analysis.
- Existing conditions documentation.
- Support marketing and business development activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's (required) or Master’s (preferred) degree in combination of Architecture (preferred), Landscape Architecture, Planning and/or Urban Design.
- 1-3 years practical experience.
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino and/or 3D Studio Max; basic understanding of Revit.
- Basic GIS knowledge and capabilities.
- Exceptional graphic communication abilities.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Candidates for the architectural designer position must have three to five years' experience in architecture; experience in high-end residential design, with some commercial/retail experience, are priorities. A successful candidate will have project management experience, and will be able to assist with all phases of a project.
This person will assist in producing and coordinating complete construction document sets, as well as have a successful track record of collaborating with consultants, contractors and the project team.
AutoCAD and Revit experience is required; knowledge of Google SketchUp or similar programs are a plus.
