WMOR is a small architecture practice based in Clapham. We work on projects across high-end residential and commercial projects focused mainly in central London but with further projects nationally and internationally. Current projects vary from private residences, restaurants, eco-lodges, and a river barge.

We are currently recruiting for the posts of a Part II Assistant and Project Architect at our offices in Clapham.

The successful candidates will be competent in Vectorworks, SketchUp and Photoshop with at least some knowledge of V-Ray.

Project Architect

We are looking for highly experienced project architects able to run multiple projects with junior support. Candidates should have a minimum of two years experience post part III in an architectural practice and be motivated and able to manage their own projects from inception to completion. This is an opportunity to take on a role with significant responsibility and direct contact with clients. The candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of project management and administration, have strong design and technical construction knowledge and be confident in site management and communication.

Posts will be for a fixed term of 12 months with a view to becoming permanent.

We are a dynamic and contemporary design firm that specializes in new construction/renovation of residential and mixed-used buildings. Rapidly expanding with a unique opportunity for long term growth potential. We are currently looking for a full time, experienced "Project Architect/Designer" to join our design team.

- Must have minimum of 3-5(+) years NYC experience designing & leading small to large/complex buildings.
- Must have a Bachelor's of Architecture.
- Must be a very organized leader with excellent communication skills.
- Confident enough to be the liaison between office, clients, contractors and consultants.
- Must have experience with CD's, building & facade design.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Knowledge of NYC zoning and building code.
- Must be mastered in AutoCAD Architecture [v.2014 a plus].
- Experience with residential and mixed-use buildings a plus.
- Strong detailing is a plus.
- JOB LEAD/CAPTAIN, managing projects from concept to finish is a huge plus.
- Strong renderers will be considered as well.
