Diller Scofidio + Renfro is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer / Architect to join the Publications team. The team is responsible for the conception, design, writing, content and production of different books and related projects currently in the works. The Graphic Designer / Architect will contribute to the team with a strong eye to the design of printed material in various formats and in the production of mock-ups.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Graphic Design or Communication Design is a requirement. Candidates with MARCH, GDMFA or similar degrees are encouraged to apply.
- A critical understanding of DS+R’s work and perspective is a must.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino, etc.
- Some knowledge of multimedia, video editing and image editing.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills.
Candidates should be newly-minted graduates interested in broadening their understanding of architectural practice. A sense of marketing, strategic planning and business development are also a plus.

Architect / Project Architect
Minimum requirements:
Education: Completion of professional architectural degree program. LEED accreditation is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience. A 5 to 10 year work history with progressive responsibility for leading design teams and client/community contact. Extensive experience in production/coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice is essential. Practical knowledge/experience of general architectural practice is needed, including management of engineering consultants.
Qualifications/Proficiencies: Motivated, creative, well-rounded professional; able to design, guide and coordinate a team in the production of projects for high quality public/institutional and private developer clients. Strong entrepreneurial spirit; exceptional collaboration skills; problem solver; mentor; positive attitude. Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Google SketchUp. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is required, as are excellent communication skills.
