You should have a proven knowledge of:
- Building Regulations.
- Traditional Construction and Timber Frame.
- NHBC and Robust Detailing.
- Lifetime Homes and HQI standards.
- High quality architectural detailing.
- First class working drawing packages.
- Experience in Residential and Mixed-use, including Retail projects.
You should have the skills and experience (at least 3 years) necessary to produce co-ordinated technical packages for Residential / Mixed Use / Community (individual house types, blocks of apartments, with retail and community facilities) as a member of a technical team.
Excellent Architectural detailing, CAD draughting and communication skills are essential. You should be experienced in Autocad / Vectorworks. It would be an advantage for you to
have experience of working on planning stage projects also.

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field and 1-2 years of applicable experience (the Project Architect II position requires 7 years of experience). Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software is also required, as is working knowledge of relevant building codes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and presentation skills are essential to success.
