Bright Architecture is a Brooklyn-based architecture firm with a creative and collaborative work environment. With a diverse range of long term clients, we design innovative and scalable spatial products focusing on retail and fitness experiences. We are seeking talented and ambitious Junior Architects and Junior Designers looking for engagement and professional growth throughout the design and construction process. You will work closely with Project Architects in producing deliverables with a strong emphasis in design and conceptual thinking. The ideal candidate will be excited about taking on new responsibilities in a fast-paced environment that is dedicated to helping you grow.

Qualifications:

- 2-4 years professional experience.
- Bachelors degree or greater in Architecture/ Interior Design.
- Outstanding conceptual skills and design talent.
- Experience in the preparation of construction sets.
- Strong drawing and graphic communication skills across a variety of platforms, including hand sketching.
- Familiarity in Vectorworks or other BIM related platforms and workflows, a plus.
- A strong interest or experience in high-end fitness and hospitiality design.

LSN Architects is one of the oldest architectural firms in the country and is based in the heart of South Devon. We are a small practice with a busy workload and a wide-ranging portfolio covering projects from bespoke residential designs to large industrial projects as well as a regular mix of retail and community work.

Our offices are in the market town of Newton Abbot and while a good volume of our work is locally sourced through strong relationships within the area, we also undertake projects across the South Hams, Torbay, Plymouth & Exeter regions.

We are currently looking to expand the practice to include another architect and are looking for an experienced and proactive candidate who is interested in growing within the firm.

Candidates should be RIBA Part II qualified or above, with a minimum of 3 years of experience post qualification. They should be capable of working autonomously as required, but are also a team player and willing to take on responsibility and management roles for specific projects.

Candidates should also be personable and have a keen interest in building relationships in the local community.

Conservation experience or qualifications are a plus due to the nature of our heritage work and strong experience with CAD is necessary.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
