Our client, an acclaimed and emergent International Design firm specializing in Hospitality, Mixed-Use and Retail, is now looking for an experienced Senior Associate Level Interior Designer to join their fantastic team in Singapore. You must have experience in handling large-scale mixed-use type projects, with strong focus on Retail Architecture. This role requires a dynamic individual, great with client facing, an in-depth knowledge of international design trends, and the ability to work independently and manage a team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a cutting-edge practice.

Responsibilities include:

- Report to the Design Director and work closely with both the architectural and interior teams. You will manage projects from start to final stage.
- Work together in teams, able to take on projects independently with strong design skills.
- Client facing and design lead.
- Work on multiple projects of varying sizes, from retail, corporate to commercial spaces.

Requirements:

- Must be fluent in English.
- 3-8 years of design experience in a architecture/interior firm.
- Ability to work independently is Critical.
- Excellent with client facing,
- Must have a design flair that demonstrates in-depth awareness of international trends.
- Experience handling large-scale mixed-use, retail and hospitality projects, with a focus on public space retail design.
- Must have ASIA experience and willing to travel when needed.

Our Charlotte and Philadelphia offices are currently seeking designers with 6-10 years’ experience on medium to large scale projects. Senior living, multi-family and/or hospitality experience is preferred; however, excellent client communications, strong presentation skills and the ability to lead a team of creative professionals are essential. Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited university is required, in addition to, professional registration.

Responsibilities are inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:

- Ability to provide design solutions for interviews.
- Proposal preparation and interview participation.
- Ability to present ideas and designs during interviews.
- Ability to design overall campus master plans and possess an in-depth knowledge of site planning and design.
- Meeting with clients to assist in determining design of the project.
- Ability to lead the design team through Schematic Design and into Design Development, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Ability to plan work effort and design solutions to meet project budgets and deadlines, both in-house and for the client.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Excellent client interface capabilities and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Revit 2015 or higher.
- Understanding and in-depth knowledge of SketchUp, V-RAY, Rhino or other 3D design software.
