The Designer creates plans for new structures and redesigning existing structures through a combination of advanced technical skills and creativity.

The Designer provides architectural support to the project architect in the design selection, coordination, and detailing of architectural materials and systems.

The Designer communicates with client, local, state, and federal agencies in processing project deliverables meeting project schedules and budgets.

- Provide exceptional design support based on direction from Project Architect and Project Manager.
- Report to the Project Architect or Project Manager of any deviation from scope of work or contract terms.
- Assist Project Architect and Project Manager with quality control.
- Complete tasks efficiently within project schedule and budgets.
- Coordinates the collection of data and incorporates information into drawings.
- Research permitting authority requirements and ensure that construction documents meet those requirements.
- Interface with client, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Perform independent design tasks, review designs by others, prepare construction documents and associated deliverables.
- Schedule and ensure that Quality Control reviews are completed and executed prior to submittal of any deliverable.
- Assist Project Architect or Project Manager in business development, client management, and drafting of proposals.
- Work in a collaborative and integrated design environment from conceptual design through construction.
- Communicate with Project Architect and other team members to clearly understand assignments and tasks.
- Communicate with Project Architect and other team members speak up when a deviation in standards, quality, and projects goals are deviated from.
- Speak up when ability to complete assigned tasks is underestimated.
- Graduate of architecture or design school.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in architectural design.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Strong pursuit of continuing education.
