About the Role

The Intermediate Architect will participate in all phases of the architectural process, working directly with the firm leadership in technical planning, detailing and producing high quality project documents from design inception through construction completion. Responsibilities will include:

- Producing architectural drawings, documentation and other deliverables compliant with codes, project requirements and permits.
- Communicating with the project team, consultants and contractors to ensure proper coordination.
- Attending jobsite meetings, issuing supplemental instructions and responding to requests for information.
- Preparing materials, drawings and models for Client and agency presentations.

Job requirements

- Must have two or more years of experience, experience with high end residential projects a plus.
- Passion for design and attention to detail.
- Exceptional production skills.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture required, familiarity with local building codes a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Suite required, Sketch-up skills a plus.
- Problem solver who can work independently, on multiple projects, anticipate needs, facilitate decision making and enjoys working collaboratively.

This is a promising role with our client in travel retail for their Singapore office. They work with luxury brands across confectionary, alcohol and cosmetics to implement retail activation, promotional displays and all forms of POP/POS.

There is a requirement for a technically minded designer and project manager to ensure that production and construction is running according to plan on ground.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a fast paced environment within retail design, promotions, exhibitions or events.
- Must have understanding of full retail design, preferably in fashion or with luxury brands, across all forms of travel retail including airports, cruise liners and downtown centres.
- Strong understanding of materials, how to build, manage production and construction.
- Working experience in managing contractors and other suppliers.
- Strong abilities with AutoCAD and interpreting technical drawings for build.
