We have an opportunity for an Intermediate Architect at our San Francisco office. We are seeking talented individuals that are committed to design excellence, who thrive in an environment of collaboration and who demonstrate a high degree of creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

Working with us, you will:

- Prepare original architectural plans, diagrams, and data visualization.
- Perform limited design assignments under general supervision.
- Independently evaluate, select and apply standard planning techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications.
- Recommend procedures in planning matters.
- Work from plans/designs of others to compile data and perform design computations.
- Assist in writing specifications.
- Visits construction sites to gather information.
- Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives and independently provides solutions for these objectives.
- Support more senior planners and architects on large projects.

An ideal candidate has:

- 5-15 years’ experience with professional degree in Architecture, with experience in Planning/Health/Workplace/Learning and/or Science & Technology projects preferred.
- Leed ap or Leed BD+C accreditation.
- Eligibility to take the Architectural Registration Examination (ARE) within a few years, or already a Registered Architect.
- On-the-job experience using Revit to produce construction documents.
- High proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design programs.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to grasp complex functional program requirements.
- Strong background in design.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work well in a team environment with a collaborative and professional work ethic.

We are growing a passionate and personable team, alive with creative and commercial design solutions. We love architecture and design. We enjoy working with people on projects to create, challenge and innovate. Whilst we specialise in all things residential and hospitality, such as homes, apartments, hotels, students, private for rent, restaurants, bars and spas, we also have extensive experience with retail, offices and mixed-use developments.

We are looking for suitable architecture candidates to join our Bedfordshire office based in Ampthill.

Part II assistants ideally, but technicians and qualified architects may apply as we search for the right people to join our growing business. At the moment we are a small team looking to grow in Ampthill and London so now is a great time to join us.
