Samuel Anderson Architects is looking for an Architect with a professional degree in Architecture and approx. 5-7 years working experience who is comfortable with construction document level detailing and managing a 20,000 sf project. We have several cultural institution projects starting now. Applicants must be familiar with Autocad and Revit, have excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills, and have the abilities to self-direct and direct others comfortably. Previous experience as a project architect is required. Registration is not a requirement. McMahon-Baek Architecture, DPC is currently seeking a Junior Designer to work in their architecture + design studio located in Brooklyn, NY.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in a collaborative office environment.
- Demonstrated ability to produce documentation for built projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and self-monitor progress in order to meet expectations.
- Professional degree in Architecture, Design, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, at least one 3D modeling program, at least one 3D rendering/visualization program, and Adobe products as part of the design and documentation process.
- Structural and detail design experience a plus.
- US work authorization required.

McMahon-Baek Architecture, DPC is a small firm working in high-end residential architecture and design. The office, located in Gowanus, Brooklyn, also has a separate workshop studio with 3D printing, woodworking, and ceramics capabilities for developing independent projects.
