Requirements

- Completion of BArch or March.
- Ability to self-motivate in a creative studio environment.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Enthusiasm to accommodate various shifting schedules, project demands, and deadlines.
- Well organized, precise and attentive to detail.
- Great verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
- AutoCAD experience required.
- Sketchup and Mac OS X experience preferred.
- Ability to travel for projects.

Purpose:

To assist Associates and Associate Directors, in the design and delivery of a range of projects with the management of teams and consultants across all phases of project delivery.

To manage, direct and/or lead projects.

Projects

Carry out tasks as follows:

- Production of accurate, effective drawings with minimum mark-ups by Architect.
- Design development and documentation of various scale projects as part of a team.
- Produce Drawings that comply with Group GSA Standards.
- Liaising with client & consultants under the direction of Project Architect.
- Apply legislative regulations and standards.
- Complete and assess work against brief.

Design

- Maintain design integrity.
- Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Design and document in compliance with Group GSA standards.
- Present design proposals.

Technical Competence:

- IT skills including CAD (AutoCAD/Revit preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite to prepare project proposals.
- Ability to sketch and communicate design ideas.
- Strong business writing skills to prepare a project proposal, EOI or report.

Qualifications:

- Masters or Bachelor Degree in Architecture and/or Degree in related discipline with 2-5 years industry experience.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Fluency in English; bilingualism (English/Chinese) a plus.
