A well established NYC Architecture firm is looking to hire talented Junior / Intermediate architects (2-5 years of experience) for its large office in Chelsea. We are seeking an Intermediate Designer / Architect to design and develop the interior and exterior architectural details of traditional single-family residential projects.

Experience Requirements:

Must possess a U.S. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture or a closely related field, plus two to five years of experience as an architectural designer.

The individual will participate as a junior/intermediate member of a project team, contribute to design and construction documents under supervision of senior staff and partners, assemble presentation materials for in-house and client design review meetings, proposals, and public presentations, utilize AutoCAD, Adobe Graphic Suite software and Sketch-Up. (Revit is a plus)

The ideal candidate must have strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, concise and articulate written and verbal communication and presentation skills, an ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and a demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines, analyze and develop approaches to the creation and modification of architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. ensuring the incorporation of design intent.

Yiangou Architects are looking for an exceptional qualified Architect to join our team. You must have at least 5 years' post qualification experience, as well as a successful track record of producing and managing outstanding bespoke residential architecture up to £10M. Our work is highly diverse and encompasses both traditional and contemporary designs. Projects include new and refurbished houses, listed buildings, developing estates and farm buildings, leisure complexes and educational buildings.

You will work alongside Directors to develop designs and achieve planning consents. You will lead and co-ordinate project teams to produce details, working drawings and to manage projects on site, to time and budget. You will be personable and able to provide exceptional client service and possess a self motivated drive to exceed client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of and be passionate about both traditional and contemporary architecture.
