Join a collaborative Brighton based design studio, well known for their contemporary and artistic design style and immerse yourself in the development high-rise residential tower schemes. A well-known multidisciplinary practice, leader in the design and architecture industry are now offering the opportunity for a talented Architect to join them on a permanent basis.

Their portfolio of projects expands from masterplanning and luxury, award-winning residential & hospitality towers through to retail, commercial and regeneration schemes. Furniture and some industrial design projects also play a part in the practice’s contribution to the creative industry.

The successful Architect will be working primarily on high-rise residential projects and will be involved across all project stages, therefore, good site experience and close-to-none front end design skills are essential.

Role & Responsibilities

- Working directly with clients from initial concept design through to onsite completion.
- Liaising with consultant teams, contractors and third parties on a regular basis.
- Managing and leading teams.
- Taking responsibility for a portfolio of projects.
- Producing accurate detailed information suitable for tender and construction.
- Running own projects throughout all stages.

Required Skills & Experience

- Part III qualification or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ professional experience. Residential experience required.
- Job runner experience, particularly of UK based large scale high-end residential projects during the construction phases.
- Experience leading projects through all RIBA stages (1-7).
- A background working with Listed Building would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, contractors and local authorities.

Applicants should be proficient in the use of Microstation but the client is prepared to cross train the ideal candidate if needs be.

Salary & Package

The successful applicant will be offered a salary of up to £48,000, plus pension. Candidates will also be offered the following benefits below:

What You Do:

The Project Architect ensures that the design intent of the project is realized throughout all phases of design, including concept drawings, design development, technical documentation and construction administration.
