Marvel Architects is a dynamic, award-winning 80-person firm with offices in New York City and San Juan. We seek a gifted Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 7 years of experience to build a department and lead teams from concept design to completion. Our approach integrates Interior Design in the earliest phases of Architecture and Planning, with a portfolio of new construction projects that bridge private space and the public realm, including multi-family and luxury housing, theaters, schools, and large-scale public spaces in and beyond New York City.

Qualified applicants are talented designers capable of producing unique concepts and communicating those designs through working drawings and renderings; developing schedules; and delivering presentations. Applicants are knowledgeable of contemporary trends, pricing, and sources of furniture, finishes, and fixtures. The position requires management of consultants, delegation of work assignments and providing direction to multiple project teams. Applicants must be proficient in AutoCAD 2015 and 3d modelling and rendering, and Revit project experience. Candidates must have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Interior Design or Advanced Degree in Architecture, with strong organization, team building and management skills.
