Our client is seeking an Interior Designer with 8+ years of commercial interiors experience to work on high profile projects. Portfolio should reflect corporate interiors projects, strong visualization and presentation graphics from concept design through delivery of construction documents. They are looking for highly creative, enthusiastic candidates who know how to take initiative. This position requires excellent visual and verbal communication skills, proficiency with an array of design technology including the Adobe Suite and FF&E experience. Candidate should have strong knowledge of the NYC commercial interior market, and should be known in the industry. Revit a must.

Our client has grown from a fledgling business to a thriving multi-disciplinary practice of more than 18 staff and 3 offices within 5 years, my client now has further opportunities for a driven and talented Senior Architect to join their team based in the Oxfordshire office. You will be expected to take on the firms most complex projects and assist with developing and managing the team.

Working from several studios across the country, this successful Architecture practice has a backbone of high-end residential and domestic projects, accumulating in excess of 130 projects a year. These commissions range from £350,000 – £2million in contract value, and include extensions, refurbishments and new builds within London, Oxford, Surrey and along the South Coast.

Each of their offices remain interactive with one another, using skype as a form of regular communication, and meeting as an entire team on a regular basis both for training and social events including race days, treasure hunts and fun competitions.

With their client-focussed philosophy and a strong ambition to expand the company and spread in to new sectors and disciplines, they are now looking for an experienced Architect to help them develop and to offer support to the managing directors.

Role & Responsibilities

- Take complete responsibility for your own projects from design through to construction.
- Maintaining and monitoring the high design standards within the office.
- Supporting the directors in the day to day operations of the oxford office.
- Work load allocation and capacity planning.
- Working directly with Clients and ensure they receive the highest level of service.

Required skills & experience

- Part III qualification and ARB registration or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on projects of a similar size and value within the residential sector.
- A strong passion to be part of an exciting venture within a rapidly growing company.
- Fully rounded, bright and client focused individual looking to optimise your skillset.
- ArchiCAD would be a great advantage however training will be provided.
- Experience leading projects through all RIBA stages (1-7).
- Ability to lead a team.
- Confidence in dealing directly with clients.
- Full driving licence

Salary & Package

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic salary between £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience. The practice would also offer company pension scheme starting in April 2017, bonus structure, regular CPD and will pay your ARB/RIBA memberships.
