Award winning high-end interior design firm located in Chelsea, NYC, looking to hire an Architect with Interior Design background for the role of designer & project manager. This is a part time position with an opportunity to become full time. The employee will be expected to execute projects from concept design through installation. The candidate must have prior experience compiling and drafting, including millwork, custom furniture and interior architectural detailing. Experience in Hospitality is a plus.

- Interpret design concepts by partnering with lead designer and translate them into workable drawings; evaluate alternatives to develop solutions.
- Custom furniture and product design renderings and technical drawings.
- Detailing for residential and commercial interiors, as well as all types of custom millwork and furniture.
- Presentation Design - physical model making and 3D renderings.
- Experience in project management and project scheduling.
- Manage budgets and schedules.
- Work closely with our lead designer and clients on every step of the projects.

Skills and abilities:

- 5 years experience as a project architect.
- AutoCAD.
- 3D Rendering: Proficient in a program such as [Rhino, Revit, Studio Max, etc.] and Sketch-Up.
- Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined.

The position will be drafting and computer-intensive, so please respond only if you are proficient with these skills.
