Junior-Intermediate Designer

An award-winning firm based in Silver Lake, projects range from various cultural to residential commissions in the Los Angeles area.
Position:
Formation Association is currently interviewing for a Jr./Intermediate Designer in Los Angeles with 0-4 years of experience for full-time / part-time independent contract work. A selected candidate will be expected to contribute creatively on projects in various phases of development, from conceptualization to construction administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Professional 5-year Architectural Degree Completed.
- Strong ability to self-organize and improvise intelligently in a demanding, unorthodox working environment.
- Effective and fluent in the production of project visualization and documentation.
- Required command of AutoCAD, Rhino, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrates ability to produce/coordinate models, furniture, built work, etc.
- Experience in residential buildings and documentation a plus: SD, DD, CD.
- Excel is your friend.
