21/06/2014AR Design Studio is recruiting for a qualified Architect to join its Winchester studio.
AR Design Studio is an award winning, young and exciting design focused architectural studio working on high-end residential projects. We are currently looking for an experienced architect to join the team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidates will assist with an expanding project portfolio including one off houses, extensions, master planning, hotels and commercial projects.
The successful candidate must have 5-10 years post Part III experience, with excellent CAD and presentation skills and a passion for design. Proficient English language skills are also a must, with the ability to manage a small team of staff. The candidate must have substantial site experience and be competent in delivering projects through to completion, with a good technical knowledge of construction.
Personal qualities:
Our studio is young and sociable, and require new staff to be happy to engage with this side of the practice. The candidate should be friendly and efficient at work, whilst being able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary depending on experience. Interviews to commence immediately. No agencies please.

The Architectural Designer duties include:
- Responsible for building system concepts and documentation process from schematic through construction administration phases within the discipline.
- Developing design presentations and contract documents.
- Conduct materials and product research as required for project development.
- Attend project meetings.
- Interface with other discipline team leaders.
Qualifications include:
- Professional architectural degree from an accredited school.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in architectural design.
- Experience assembling drawing sets.
- Strong graphic and design talent.
- Clear understanding of the design and construction process.
- Highly productive and collaborative work ethic.
- Ability to work well with others under deadline situations.
- Must speak either English or Chinese.
