Project responsibilities will include: working with existing project teams to provide design and construction document production work on larger projects; independently managing and completing small to mid-size projects; working with existing clients through all phases of projects.
Proficiency with Revit and prior experience with AutoCAD.
A minimum of 3 years prior professional experience.
NCARB registration required; candidates will be expected to pursue professional licensure.

Ascher Davis Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture and interior design studio specializing in high-end residential, corporate, and institutional work. ADA is seeking a talented and self-motivated interior designer candidate for a full-time junior position. This is an excellent, hands-on opportunity for the right applicant who will benefit greatly from being involved in all aspects of a dynamic environment. The applicant must be skilled and eager to become involved in all phases of the interior and decorating design process.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of office experience, preferably in high-end residential interiors work.
- Bachelors of Interior Architecture or Interior Design Degree.
- AutoCAD drafting skills.
- Proficiency with graphics software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator are all required) and MS Office Suite & Project.
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and through drawings.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- All aspects of sourcing furniture, textiles, lighting and coming up with comprehensive interior design schemes.
- Presentation boards and sketches.
- CAD production work.
- Presentation drawing production (CAD, hand drawing and rendering skills are important).
- Job related research.
- Researching initial precedent images.
- Compiling materials and FF&E schedules based on direction given.
