A World Renowned Multi-Disciplinary Design Firm is urgently looking for a Senior Interior Designer with proven Large Scale Hospitality project experience to lead their Hong Kong Design team. You will be responsible for creating innovative design concepts, coordinating teams and liaising with clients. This is a great opportunity for a creative designer with excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide team with a clear design direction and ensure high-quality design.
- Responsible for producing creative design concepts, guiding the design team, and leading them through documentation and construction.
- Oversee project administration and organization and ensure that design standards are followed.
- Maintain existing and develop new client relationships.
- Work closely with project managers regarding project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Minimum 15 years of Luxury Hospitality Interior Design work experience.
- Minimum 8 years experience leading a design team.
- Proven ability to provide successful creative design solutions.
- Proven ability to successfully manage design team through a collaborative leadership style.
- Understanding of Architectural construction and building systems.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as Sketch-Up or Rhino.
- Proficiency in Revit is an advantage.
- LEED Accreditation is an advantage.
- Fluency in verbal and written Mandarin is an advantage.

The candidate will work with a team on a range of projects including new construction, renovation, and development of finish standards and guidelines for nationally recognized organizations.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design/ Architecture.
- 3+ years’ experience in Healthcare, Laboratory, and Institutional work.
- Ability to collaborate with and assist project designer on all phases of interior design projects, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, vendor follow ups, pricing requests, etc.)
- Excellent written and communication skills including ability to prepare clear, informative presentation materials.
- Excellent intrapersonal skills including presentations and technical conversations with design team, faculty, staff, leadership, architects, and building owners.
- Experience with the LEED certification process including credit calculations and documentation.
- Graphic skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Sketch-up.
- Rendering abilities (either hand or computer).
- Legal working status in the U.S.
