Wolcott Architecture Interiors (WAI) based in Culver City is accepting resumes for a Project Architect position.

The Project Architect is responsible for the successful management of assigned projects from concepts and schematic design through construction documents and observation. Our unique process allows you to guide your projects from inception to completion to exceed our client’s expectations.

S/he must be able to coordinate and motivate a project team, provide quality client service, and show strong proficiency in developing, monitoring and issuing quality construction documents.

Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years experience in architecture and commercial tenant improvements as well as excellent organization, communication and leadership skills.

Requirements:

A degree in Architecture (or equivalent experience), design experience, a strong working knowledge of building systems, code compliance and planning implications, proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience dealing with building and safety, planning and working with municipal officials is a plus.

Carroll & Partners are looking for a talented UK qualified and registered Architect with job running experience to join our Practice of Architects and Surveyors in South Oxfordshire. We are instructed on various projects including residential/mixed use, large country houses, commercial B1/B8 sites, single dwellings, barn conversions, house remodelling and brown field redevelopments - from concept design through to completion.

Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate strong conceptual design flair and good client communication skills. The ability to manage and deliver large and small projects on time and to a budget is essential for this position. They should be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and visualisation software, including Sketch-Up and Adobe Creative Suite (BIM – Revit an advantage).

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and running the busy architectural division of the firm and can expect a commencing salary package circa £42,000 per annum depending on experience. The position would appeal to those seeking to run their own show.
