Regional, Twin Cities based, multifamily and senior housing developer has an excellent opportunity for a licensed in-house Architect.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and attain to project production schedules.
- Prepare construction drawings and specifications for projects.
- Preliminary sketches and designs.
- Construction project management including contract administration, site observation and field visits.
- Perform ADA / code compliance and regulatory agency reviews.
- Perform site planning, preliminary grading analysis, building layout, land use studies, and design feasibility analysis.
- Lead a team and coordinate consultants and consultant contracts.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with company staff.
- Prepare cost estimates and monitor project budgets for compliance.
Requirements:
- Qualified candidates will have exceptional communication skills and be able to demonstrate their ability to oversee and be responsible for overall project design and delivery.
- Design background.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUP, and other industry software is required.
- Experience with HUD, FNMA, and Freddie Mac design requirements desired.
- Regional travel is required.
