A small architectural firm located in lower Manhattan is seeking a Senior Architect with experience generating design/construction details, and assisting with specifications for a high-end residential high rise that is in the early stages of schematic design.

The drawings will be generated with Revit, any experience with this software is a plus, but it is not a requirement.

The ideal candidate:

- Will have a minimum of 10 years experience.
- Is preferably a licensed architect.
- Is familiar with the NYC building code and zoning requirements.
- Has Revit experience.
- Has field supervision experience.

Our Washington office is seeking a mid-level project architect/designer with a minimum 4 years experience. We are a small, progressive design oriented office with locations in Washington, Honolulu and Manila. Our projects are diverse, ranging from mixed-use, institutional and transit projects, bridge design, industrial to urban master plans - often exciting and out of the ordinary. Enthusiasm and adaptability are key in order to respond to the range of projects and challenges with innovative solutions. The applicant should have well-rounded skills. Summary:

This is an experienced project architect/designer with responsibility for initiating design concepts, design development and construction documents for one or more large or complex projects, in a manner consistent with firm-wide standards for project delivery.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture required.
- Four years minimum experience required.
- Architect license a plus.
- Transit, Bus Rapid transit experience required.
- Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office literacy required.
- 3D modeling/rendering, Microstation experience a plus.
- Advanced graphic and verbal presentation skills, including hand sketching, required.
- Ability to design and produce construction documents through detail level.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined.
- Ability to work with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others.

It is required that the applicant have solid experience working with public sector clients with focus and strong interest in design excellence. He or she must have experience carrying a project through CD’s. Communication of the design with sophisticated presentation skills will be critical. It is preferable to have experience and an interest in bridge design.
