Project Architect
22/05/2014We are looking for a Project Architect to join our leisure based practice in South Manchester working on a variety of exciting projects.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years post Part III experience with strong design and communication skills, sound technical knowledge and the ability to work on multiple projects.
You should also have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.
Excellent prospects for the right candidate with salary subject to experience.

Intermediate to Senior Design Architect

Applicants should have the following attributes:
- Degree in architecture from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience (intern or registered).
- Experience working on overseas projects.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting – an ability to integrate architectural concepts into the larger context of planning and landscape design.
- Ability to work at multiple scales – large scale master planning to architectural detailing.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Hand sketching ability – hand drawn plans, sections, perspectives are a necessary part of our design process.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Adobe Suite – Ability to generate quick presentable Sketch Up model concepts within a planning or landscape context in a workshop setting.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Travel is an essential part of the job description – may involve trips to Asia every 6 -8 weeks.
- Strong design skills – ability to generate and present quick design concepts in a workshop setting.
- Energetic and confident.
