Our material expertise allows us to push the boundaries of design, creating products, interiors and alternative methods of construction which provide innovative solutions to the built environment. Our team draws on a wide range of backgrounds integrating fine art, branding, interior, graphic and industrial design. Our International portfolio includes boutique hotels and restaurants as well as residential and condominium projects.

MAI seeks a motivated interior designer with 5+ years of full time studio experience.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

- A minimum of 5 + years of interior design experience.
- Strong conceptual and design skills.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines.
- A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working.
- Ability to produce detailed ID’s and CD’s.
- FF&E/orders experience and knowledge of brands, fabrics and materials.
- Advance knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Indesign and Sketch up essential.
- Bilingual beneficial.

Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in all phases of the design process with excellent project management, client coordination and people management skills.

All candidates must have:

- Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 5 years post qualification design experience.
- Membership of a professional association.
- Strong design skills and experience in all phases of the design process.
- Built Project Experience where delivery of concept has been achieved.
- Ability to apply a technical rigor to the production and coordination of drawing packages and the ability to put a building together.
- Sound knowledge of 3D delivery tools is beneficial.
- International experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel.
