They are extremely busy and need to grow their design teams in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu The ideal candidates will have the ambition, energy and positive attitude to work on large commercial and mixed use projects in China.
You will have a minimum of 3 years of workplace experience with a high level of technical skill with attention to detail. You naturally possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines for pitches and tenders and are able to converse fluently in English. Mandarin or Cantonese is a bonus but is not essential. Fluency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential. Photoshop and InDesign would be beneficial. Excellent free-hand sketching is required for these positions.

C&G Partners, an established New York City multi-specialty design studio, has an immediate opening for an entry-level or intern architectural designer for exhibit, event and experiential design projects. Special emphasis on museum and cultural project types to start. Our design studio is unique: we undertake projects for culture and commerce that involve multiple kinds of in-house design specialists at the same time, from media designers, to architects, graphic designers, writers and more.
This candidate will have 0 to 3 years of experience and will be expected to work collaboratively on exhibit, event and experience design projects. Responsibilities will include: 3d modeling, rendering, drafting, detailing and conceptual design. The candidate should have strong visual presentation skills and work well on a team with other designers across multiple disciplines.
Requirements:
Excellent design skills and a B.Arch or M.Arch degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are ideal also, to successfully collaborate with our teams and communicate with clients.
Unique "Multi-Specialty" Requirement:
Each person in our studio is ideally multi-specialty themselves. Applicants will ideally state demonstrable specialty abilities in at least two relevant disciplines of design consulting. For example: project management plus content development, architecture plus coding. Combinations of more than two are welcome, as are specialties not yet provided to clients of the firm.
Software requirements:
Excellent knowledge of Rhino and V-ray, Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, good knowledge of AutoCAD, knowledge of Maya and Rhinoscripting a plus.
