Junior Designer
23/05/2014Allen + Killcoyne Architects an award winning, design oriented architectural firm of eleven staff members, is seeking an architect with a minimum of 2 years experience with a specific focus on retail, residential and corporate interiors.
The candidates must have strong design and graphic skills. Computer literacy must include AutoCAD. Additional useful skills would be with Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-Up and 3D Studio Max/Viz. The candidate must be self motivated, enjoy working with others and have a sense of humor. LEED accreditation is a plus.
AKA has a diverse range of projects that include retail, corporate interiors, residential, gyms and institutional work. The firm offers a full health plan and a 401K savings plan.

Project Architect
23/05/2014Vibrant architectural consultancy firm with a portfolio of prestigious global retail & commercial clients, who specialize in both the design and construction of interiors worldwide, have a great opportunity for a Project Architect to work within this small team on luxury leisure and retail projects. Projects are fast moving so you will need to be a confident designer, highly competent project manager, have excellent team relationship skills, be a proficient AutoCAD or Vectorsworks user and it would be vital to have solid drawing coordination expertise with engineering consultants and statutory authorities. Proven experience of job running, assembling tender and construction packages is essential, alongside experience working at production information stage.
Qualifications and personal qualities:
- RIBA or ARB registered Architect with experience of working within the United Kingdom.
- Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly computer literate, self-motivated and a clear thinker, alongside a strong team player who can work in a multi-disciplinary team and able to work to tight deadlines.
