Junior Architect
21/04/2015Standard Architects is a busy 10-person architectural firm located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We are currently seeking a Junior Architect. Successful candidates will have excellent design and 3D modeling skills, experience working in a collaborative environment developing project documentation on complex projects and demonstrate effective problem solving and communication skills. This position also requires proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of 3D modeling as part of the design and documentation process. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience.
Salary is competitive and based on experience/skill level.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter, resume and worksample to email. Senior Designer
21/04/2015A mid-size, chic design studio in SoHo is looking to hire an experienced senior architect to work with a team of architects and interior designers. This 18-person firm has quickly gained recognition and works very hard on exciting projects without sacrificing a healthy live-work balance. The Soho office overlooks Manhattan with a beautiful view of The New Museum.
This particular firm has recently won a number of projects and requires a designer familiar with NY codes and Hotel design, from concept through completion.

- Experience with at least one hotel project from concept through completion, including construction documents.
- NYC knowledge / experience.
