Avery Hall Investments, a boutique mixed-use real estate development company in New York City, is seeking an experienced and creative architect/designer with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience for the position of Project Designer / Junior Architect. The candidate’s responsibilities will consist of substantial design work for residential and commercial ground-up developments, as well as limited project management and on-site fieldwork. The candidate will be at the forefront of our firm’s continued expansion and have the opportunity to contribute towards our ongoing brand development.

Required qualifications:

- Experience in design and detailing architectural plans for ground-up multi-family, new construction development in urban settings.
- Impeccable design sensibility and talent.
- Must have taken part in at least one new ground up multi-family development entirely from Schematic Design to TCO.
- Capability of organizing & assembling construction documents.
- General knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively with consultants and contractors; experience coordinating work of consulting engineers.
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite programs.

Experience requirements:
