Our workload is growing and we are looking for an Architect to join our team based near Reigate in Surrey. Applicants should have the ambition to lead projects from concept stage though to development and construction.

Candidates should have:

- Excellent design and technical skills.
- A good understanding and experience of construction methods and materials.
- Knowledge of UK Planning Policy and current UK building regulations.

You will be expected to take on an active role cultivating relationships with clients and contractors and therefore we would expect you to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. BIM and previous experience in Vectorworks would be an advantage.

We are in a rural office with a diverse mix of clients, which means a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. You should live within commuting distance.

Immediate availability is desirable.

Qualifications:

- Professional architecture degree, B.Arch or higher.
- 1 – 3 years design and construction experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D StudioMax, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign and MS Office.
- Ability to effectively communicate with design team.
- Ability to efficiently prepare digital renderings and construction documents.

Responsibilities:

- Produce drawings for all design phases, conceptual design through construction documents.
- Produce materials for client presentations.
- Research manufacturers' materials, systems and specifications.
- Coordinate design with all consultants, including renderers, model builders and engineers.
