Maziar Behrooz Architecture is a multi-discilplinary, award-winning, architecture studio located in Chelsea and East Hampton, NY, with a wide range of projects from private residences in the Hamptons to public & art projects in New York.

We are looking for an architectural designer to focus on residential projects in the Hamptons for clients who have chosen us to explore alternative methods of design & building.

You must have a B. Arch and / or M. Arch. and a minimum of 3 years of US experience with small stand-alone buildings (Intl experience is welcome, but should be additional to your US work). You must have demonstrable experience in managing a project through DD and CD sets, and be comfortable with coordinating schedules and specs, coordinating vendors, and working with contractors and clients, etc..

Your primary software for this work is Autocad, but you must be proficient with Adobe and have a working knowledge of Rhino and Sketchup. The ability to create beautiful drawings, from presentation drawings to complete CD packages, is essential.

You need to work on your own, but be able to work with others as well and delegate tasks.

It is vital that you understand and have demonstrable experience in wood-frame, and light-steel construction.

Oxford Architects LLP require staff join our existing team in our Oxford office to work on a range of buildings in residential, education, healthcare, transport and research sectors.

- Creative, design conscious Architects with 1-3 years’ experience and good technical skills.

Applicants should preferably have experience of using Microstation at 3D level and Bentley AECOsim BIM software as well as general knowledge of standard supporting software used in detailed design, preparation of works packages and in specification writing. Good presentation skills are essential to all posts.

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate that they can work on a variety of projects simultaneously, as team members or individually.
