Cityscape is currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

Project Architect - Manages, organizes and coordinates project teams and team assignments to complete architectural projects. Responsible for ensuring that production of construction documents are in concert with design intent, responsible for project schedules and budgets. Resolves complex technical / design issues and provides guidance to team. Coordinates activity and communication between project team, sub-contractors and other disciplines.

Job requirements:

- Licensed Architect, preferred but not required.
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Three years minimum experience in commercial architecture, with a preference given to retail and automotive retail.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, Word, and Excel is a must; experience with Revit is a plus.
- Experience in all project phases, from strategic planning and programming through construction phases.
- Strong experience in construction document preparation.
- Knowledge of building materials, specifications, construction techniques.
- Experience with building codes, ADA requirements, zoning and generally knowledgeable in jurisdictional processes.
- Sufficient knowledge of engineering disciplines to coordinate their work.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct building and energy code analyses and be the primary point of contact with jurisdictions.
- Survey existing conditions and prepare documentation of existing buildings.
- Document production, detailing, and coordination.
- Maintain the Project Manual and edit specifications as required.
- Conduct on-site observations, prepare Architect's field reports as needed.
- Submittal reviews during construction, maintain RFI and submittal logs.
- Represent the firm in a professional manner in person and thru written and verbal communication.

FR-EE / Fernando Romero Enterprise is a design-focused architecture firm founded in 1999 with offices in Mexico and New York. We are presently looking for highly motivated people to join our design team.

We are looking for a full-time Senior Designers with 8+ years of experience to support our current works which include high-rise office and residential, institutional and mixed use planning and development projects in the Americas.

Duties include:

- Communication with client & consultant team.
- Technical production of drawing sets.
- Management of junior team members.

Essential skills:

- Fluent in English, spoken and written (Spanish is an asset).
- Strong conceptual and design skills.
- Client management & project coordination skills.
- Technical detailing & construction administration.
- Requirement: Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget your time.
- Ability to take initiative in response to direction or instruction.
- A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working.
- Great interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods.

Experience & qualifications:

- Professional degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Architect / Designer on built and published references.
- Filing, construction documents and construction administration in N. America.
- Experience from a leading American or International architecture office.
- Licensed and / or leed certification are assets.
- Has all legal permits and visas required to work in US.
