- Professional Architecture degreee from an accredited university.

Junior Designer
08/07/2015Manning Silverstein Architects is a small architecture and interiors design studio in upper west side Manhattan, specializing in high-end residential apartments and houses. We are looking for a detail oriented Junior Designer to join and grow with our team full-time.
Under close supervision and collaboration with the principal architects, some responsibilities include:
- Support the Principal Architects in developing schematic interior layouts, key architectural elements, and details.
- Manage the production, organization and coordination of DOB and construction document sets.
- Communicate and coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and clients.
- Research and specify finish materials, fixtures & products.
- Attend job-site meetings and observe construction.
All applicants must meet the following requirements:
- 2-5 years of architecture/interiors office experience; high-end residential preferred.
- Bachelors or Masters in architecture or related professional degrees.
- Ability to work independently and with other team members to provide thoughtful design solutions.
- Excellent problem solving, organization & communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and comfortable with client interaction.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe CS and hand-sketching.
- 3D-modeling & rendering and physical modeling experience a plus.
