We are looking for a recently qualified Architect or Part II Architectural Assistant keen to gain experience in a busy practice based on the borders of Hertfordshire and Essex.

Candidates should be capable of working on their own and as part of team, whilst meeting tight deadlines. Proven design and presentation skills are essential as is the ability to work without constant supervision. Candidates will have the opportunity to manage projects from the design stages right through to the planning process, on a variety of building types including residential and commercial.

Essential requirements include:

- Experience in using AutoCAD or Vectorworks, Photoshop, Sketch-up and/or other 3D packages as well as having technical and hand drawing ability.
- Full understanding of the planning and building regulations.
- Communication, written and presentation skills.

Salary dependent on experience.

It is also essential that candidates have excellent written and spoken English and have achieved a good grade in an English exam.
