A world-renowned multi-award winning design practice who are experiencing continued success throughout a number of sectors and regions working on major high profile large-scale schemes are seeking a Hospitality Interior Designer to lead a team of designers and oversee projects from concept through to completion.
Key day-to-day tasks of the Hospitality Interior Designer include:
- Liaising with clients, engineers, suppliers, planning officials, local architects, regulatory bodies.
- Leading a team of four designers working on international hospitality projects.
- Reporting to the Head of Design.
- Overseeing projects and dealing with them from concept through to completion.
- Take a brief in-house and respond effectively, using your own initiative to analyse options and prioritise alternatives, while referring back as required, to ensure work remains on track.
- Align and integrate interior design principles into the wider architectural project.
- Delivering the assigned piece of work in line with project deadlines.
- Take an overview of the Interior team, responsibilities, performance, active projects and work with the Head of Interiors to design and implement a strategy for the department.
Key attributes of the Hospitality Interior Designer include:
- Proficient in using AutoCAD. Photoshop, Indesign, Microstation and Rhino beneficial.
- 8-10 years hospitality experience from a respected design firm. High end residential experience would also be a beneficial.
- Proven experience of delivering high-end fit out/interiors in a range of completed hospitality & residential projects.
- Experience of working on international projects.
- Ability to project manage the execution of ideas by appropriately selected contractors.
- Excellent presentation, conceptual and visualising skills.
- Knowledge of specification writing programmes.
- Expert in drawing tender packages.
- Robust and tenacious personality.
- Strategic thinking and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.

C+GA is currently seeking a candidate for an Architect position with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Project Architect for sustainable multi-family residential, mixed use, planning and institutional projects, from feasibility through construction administration.
- Interface with client and consulting team.
- Coordinate design and production of all phases, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
- Assist with bid period and construction administration services, including site visits and coordination with the owner and potential public agency (ies).
- Zoning and code review.
Skills:
- Strong organizational, communication, and design skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent project delivery experience, including construction documentation and construction administration.
- Commitment to and experience with sustainable design.
- Wide ranging knowledge of architectural practice and construction in general.
- Experience in New York City and with sustainable design and multi-family housing a plus.
- Experience with NYC Zoning and Building Code.
- Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience (post-grad). US experience required.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up.
- US Architectural registration a plus.
- Leed Certification a plus.
- Excellent English language communication and client interface skills.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employee sponsorship.
