Our opportunity:
We are searching for a Senior Architect to serve as a senior member of the architectural and technical design team for Blueprint Robotics. The successful candidate will both manage and participate in the coordination and overall integration of technical and architectural activities including the preparation of construction documents and specifications. Additionally this individual will:
- Prepare drawings and other architectural documents using Revit software and other tools.
- Prepare construction documentation that includes technical specifications, and code compliance requirements.
- Assess, select and implement procedures and techniques to be used on projects.
- Assist in developing project man-hours and planning schedule for various phases of the design process.
- Participate in Company sponsored training to achieve competence in the AutoCAD based manufacturing design software.
- Confer with clients and the project management team to discuss technical specifications, building methods, and constructability improvements.
- May direct the activities of more junior architects and or technicians engaged in preparing drawings and specifications; direct, review, or approve project design changes.
- Provide technical solutions for problems and collaborate with project team to ensure deliverables are achieved upon timelines and budgets.
- Participate in the development and formulation of organizational systems and processes.
Our requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess a graduate degree in Architecture with registration as a professional architect preferred. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of architectural experience in a residential construction setting, including the single and multi-family sectors. Must possess experience with Revit building design software. Experience working with both large and small companies preferred.
Our ideal candidate will be a high-energy, hands-on "doer" who has the confidence and expertise to collaborate with external peers. He or she will possess prior experience managing people and projects and have the capacity to grow into a leadership role as the organization grows.
