Candidate requirements:

- BArch, March, or BFA Interior Design degree.
- 1-3 years post-graduate professional experience.
- Experience in retail design.
- Familiarity with furniture/fixture detailing.
- Proficiency with technical construction documents.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
- 3D modeling and rendering proficiency.
- Ability to handle fast-paced projects.
- Natural design sensibilities.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Must currently reside in the NYC area.

DXA Studio's current work includes mixed-use, residential projects at 7 Harrison and 21-27 Mercer Streets; both landmarked sites. These designs present residents with cleanly-detailed, refined living environments while perceptively enhancing the neighborhood and street experiences. Additionally, construction of a new office headquarters for the Sydell Group is nearing completion and later this summer a complete regeneration of the Highline Ballroom will take place. All projects leverage the firm’s particular adeptness for landmarks, loft board and zoning approvals, and NYC City Planning and Uniform Land Use Review Procedures.

DXA studio is looking for the following candidates:

Senior Architects with project management experience (8+ years experience).

Candidates for the position should have the following qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters of Architecture.
- Architectural and interior design expertise.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Project management experience.
- Team leadership skills.
- Experience working directly with clients.
- Experience in construction document and specification preparation.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and consultant coordination.
- Experience with NYC zoning, building code and DoB approval process.
- Experience in leading projects through construction administration.
- High-end residential detailing experience preferred.
