PKS are a London practice with a varied residential and commercial workload. We are looking for an architect with 3-5 years post part III experience to join a team working on an exciting regeneration project. The position offers a significant career opportunity for the right candidate.
Starting salary £35,000-£40,000 p.a.
Our requirements:
- A strong sense of urban architecture and design.
- Confidence in your visual communication skills, including hand.
- Sketches.
- Considerable presentational skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD. Adobe Suite and SketchUp essential.
- Eloquence in written and spoken english.
About you:
You should have at least 3 years post Part III and UK experience. It is essential that the applicant should have a thorough understanding and experience in designing and presenting residential projects.
You will need to be self-motivated and be a practical and strategic thinker with the ability to work within a team as well as autonomously.

Qualifications:
- Professional architecture degree, B.Arch or higher.
- 1 – 3 years design and construction experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD,3D StudioMax, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign and MS Office.
- Ability to effectively communicate with design team.
- Ability to efficiently prepare digital renderings and construction documents.
Responsibilities:
- Produce drawings for all design phases, conceptual design through construction documents.
- Produce materials for client presentations.
- Research manufacturers' materials, systems and specifications.
- Coordinate design with all consultants, including renderers, model builders and engineers.
