Job description:

Project Design Architect:

We are seeking a registered senior design architect for our Pennsylvania office with a minimum of 8 years of experience to lead a project team from programming to project completion. We need creative thinkers with strong leadership and communication skills that embrace every opportunity to convey cutting-edge experience and motivation to both the project team and our clients. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic portfolio in multiple market segments including but not limited to Healthcare, Higher Education, Commercial and Government. The candidate must have strong mentorship and leadership abilities as you will help lead the design group and play a vital role in the current and future design culture of the firm.

Primary responsibilities include leading projects from programming thru the construction administration phases. Demonstrated abilities to work with clients, coordinate with consultants and lead a team are essential. Leed Accreditation and good knowledge of sustainable design practices is prefered along with excellent communication skills and strong client relationship skills.

Technical Architect:

We are seeking an experienced technical architect with a minimum of 8 years’ experience to support our design staff with the development of construction documents and specifications for a wide variety of building types. A strong background in detailing and organizing project construction documents which can include a wide variety of materials is essential. The candidate must have the ability to work with the design team to provide alternatives to construction techniques and assist in creating details that address the design intent for each project.

Each candidate must be proficient with Revit and AutoCAD Programs. Strong Communication, graphic, and presentation skills are necessary to communicate and coordinate the design and documentation with our internal architectural and engineering team.

The applicant must be able to work independently in order to resolve complex design and technical issues to produce innovative and constructible solutions.
