07/09/2015Arpad Baksa Architect, P.C. is a small, award-winning architectural firm located in Manhattan's Financial District. Accomplishments include a wide body of work across many different disciplines and styles. Currently, our projects encompass new construction, restorations, preservation, interior work and leed Green Building construction. We are seeking a full time Architect (5+ years of experience) who is creative and highly organized. The ideal candidate should have the following:
- An Architecture degree from an accredited school.
- Experience in all phases of design, from conceptual design to construction documents, including construction detailing for both interior and new construction.
- Ability to write specification.
- Ability to review shop drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong proficiency in using AutoCad and Photoshop.
- Basic proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
- Leed accredited a plus.
- Proficiency in Revit a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Senior Technical Architect

- Related degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Experience with large scale resort projects.
- Experience with US and Overseas buildings.
- Strong understanding of drawings and specs integration.
- Understanding of fast-track multiple-phased document releases.
- Understanding of interior architectural design.
- Comfort working with designers and mentoring junior staff.
- Experience with current drawing software Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong ability to coordinate and integrate multidiscipline consultants.
- Working knowledge of model building codes.
- Professional license preferred.
