LW, an International multi-disciplinary medium sized design led practice in Dubai is seeking exceptional Senior Architects to join our expanding team working on hospitality, high end residential and mixed use projects.

The Senior Design Architect shall have minimum 10 years’ experience Post Riba Part 3 experience and shall be responsible in collaboration with the Design Director for designing and management of the project team to ensure the standard of LW and contribute to the development of the design. The candidate will be expected to undertake the following:

- Responsible for developing the design and leading larger projects.
- Identify resources required in conjunction with the Directors and plan the project in accordance with the agreed program.
­ - Manage project team commitments, dates and deliverables for which you have been given responsibility for.
- Lead the multi discipline team and ensure design coordination with all other Consultants.
- Responsible for all project correspondence as LW point of contact.

Documentation:

- Identify resources required in conjunction with the Directors and plan the project in accordance with the agreed program.
- Responsible for the design information required for preparing documentation to LW standards.
- Address and resolve any coordination required.
- Responsible to ensure the total agreed deliverables are issued.
- Responsible to respond to all tender queries arising during Client / Operator review and the tender period.

Post contract:

- Review the drawing and specification package for technical Qualitive Control.
- Provide assistance to the Post Contact team during tender and construction phase if and when required.
- Visit the project during construction at periodic intervals.

Project Architect role with boutique, design led Architectural practice based in a beautiful Notting Hill Area of West London location with a portfolio of compelling, contemporary thought provoking projects. Since their inception they have won and been nominated for numerous international design awards, most notably winning Retail Week’s ‘Store Design of the Year’ in the UK. They have also been shortlisted for their Restaurant and Bar Design and recognised for their Public Space Schemes.

Their design has produced built projects which can now be found across the international Art and Architecture scene and they are currently working on a range of prestigious international projects. The practices size by no means dictates the scope and scale of their work. They are a multidisciplinary practice and their work ranges through architecture, industrial and product design.

This Project Architect job presents an amazing opportunity for an experienced III to join the practice on a permanent basis. The successful Architect will be responsible for taking a number of projects from post planning stages through to onsite delivery and completion and will be job running a number of fantastic projects. The role will entail a lot of responsibility, therefore you must be able to work autonomously from inception to completion, managing and co-ordinating a number of projects at different design stages.

Candidates wishing to apply for this position must be a minimum of Part III qualified with at least 3 years UK experience working on high quality design led projects. Applicants must be able to demonstrate good detailing experience and have the motivation to work towards the delivery of complex projects onsite. Excellent design, technical and communication skills are essential in addition to a proactive and driven approach to deliver high quality design work.
