We are seeking an experienced architect with 5+ years experience in commercial architecture for a series of high-profile commercial interior and building-wide upgrade projects. Candidate should be self motivated with excellent people, strong design and technical skills. Day-to-day interaction with clients will be required. Revit is a plus. Knowledge of materials and detailing a must.

Candidates need to be graduates of accredited architecture programs (B. Arch or M. Arch). Architectural license is a plus. Salary and benefits are competitive and include healthcare, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, and profit sharing.

Architect with 5 years post qualification UK experience sought for small and ambitious design focused practice. We are a friendly multidisciplinary team based in Shoreditch who work studiously and enjoy life.

The practice has a growing portfolio of high specification work with creative clients. Our work is contemporary and tightly tailored to our clients and their buildings.

Candidates must:

- Care about design and its detail.
- Have 5 years UK experience.
- Have English as a first language.
- Have minimum 1 year high spec residential experience.
- Have strong presentation skills across sketches, drawings and documents.
- Have a perfectionist’s eye for quality.
- Be able to work through a design process with accuracy and discipline.
- Be able to understand the perspective of others and adapt their communications accordingly.
- Be able to write eloquent design statements.
- Have construction experience and be able to apply it to their design detailing.
- Have Vectorworks, Sketchup, InDesign and Photoshop experience.
- Be able to meet deadlines within a normal 8 hour day.

This is an opportunity for a motivated candidate to work on design led projects, take responsibility for all stages within them, and work directly with clients, contractors and specialist consultants.
