Matthew Baird Architects is an architecture, planning, and interior design firm based in New York City. Founded in 2002 by Matthew Baird, the firm has grown to 18 architects, designers, and administrative staff. We have built both public and private projects in the US, Europe, and Asia. Our work ranges in scale from large campuses to custom furniture, all united by our commitment to exceptional design. Our investigations into the unique material language of each project are tempered by a sensitivity to economic and environmental concerns, and we exploit these constraints to generate novel building forms.

We are looking to hire a highly motivated and organized project architect with a minimum of five years of experience. Our firm's work ranges from high-end residential to commercial and cultural at varying scales.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience as a project architect.
- Highly developed skills in client communications, contract administration, project scheduling and consultant coordination.
- Self-motivated and skilled at managing a project team, multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines in a creative environment.
- AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite proficient, knowledge of 3Ds Max and Rhino preferred.
- Knowledge of NYC code and zoning regulations.

Architects Plus (UK) Ltd are seeking experienced staff to work in their Carlisle offices to assist with an expanding work load of diverse and exciting development projects across all sectors.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in design and communication skills combined with proven technical knowledge and experience of taking projects through to completion. Experience of using Revit (or equivalent BIM software) would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidates will be confident, friendly and efficient and will be expected to work both independently as well as part of a dynamic and energetic team.
